Registering for Individual Online Preparation with a Qualified Facilitator

In addition to the use of the actual website, the Program strongly encourages both children and parents to have a personalized individual court preparation session with qualified experienced facilitators (at no charge).

Parents also appreciate the opportunity to express concerns and ask questions about the legal justice system in their own private session as well.

In order to participate in such a practice session, the child or parent will require access to a computer with Internet Services and a computer headset with microphone. A session time will be scheduled at the convenience of the family, who can participate in their own home or possibly the local Victim Services Unit.

Children benefit from the opportunity to ask questions, discuss fears and concerns and to have the opportunity to practice responding to questions similar to those they will experience when testifying and being cross examined in court.

To arrange this individual session, please contact Alice Gifford at (403) 289-8385 or email her at csica@shaw.ca
