CSICA offers the following training programs:
Court Preparation
1. The Child Witness Court Preparation Website at www.childcourtprep.com
2. Individual online FREE preparation with qualified facilitators for any child with a computer, internet and headset with microphone. To arrange phone Alice at (403) 289-8385 or email her at csica@shaw.ca.
3. The Calgary Child Witness Court Preparation Program for children who are required to testify in court. Support and information is also offered to family members.
4. Online Court Preparation Training for Professional Facilitators who are interested in learning to prepare children to testify in court.
Child Abuse Training
1. Child Abuse Training for police officers, child welfare workers, lawyers, victim service
workers and community professionals on a contract basis.
2. Online Forensic Training in the Investigation of Child Abuse
3. Online Child Abuse Response Certificate Training for teachers, child care workers, foster parents, victim service workers, clinicians and other community professionals. The 2009 - 2010 season starts in October.
